Description

Composite Veneers The intragastric balloon system (BIB system) is an non-surgical, non-pharmaceutical treatment of obesity. It is strongly advised to overweight people, where diets and medicines don`t bring expected results. The BIB system is consisted of a soft, expandable balloon, the placement tube and a filling system, so a physician can orally insert the weight loss aid. Once inserted in the stomach, the empty balloon is filled with sterile saline and the filling system, placement tube are detached and removed. When the balloon is full, it is too large to pass into the bowel and will float freely in the stomach.

The intragastric balloon is removed after the period of maximum 6 months. Studies have shown that the anticipated Excess Weight Loss (%EWL) that can be expected with the intragastric balloon is between 25% and 40%. For example if you are 100 pounds above your ideal body weight, you would be expected to lose between 25 and 40 pounds during the time the balloon has been in place.
