Description
Orthodontics, i.e. treatment of malocclusions, in our practice is not performed only in young patients, but also in adults.
At present 2/3 of the population suffer from malocclusion, but unfortunately only some undergo treatment.
Untreated malocclusion can lead to irreversible changes in temporomandibular joints, also giving rise to pains, and crowded teeth often induce caries on the contact areas.
Stress is another problem source which lead to gritting and grinding your teeth. In these cases we propose occlusal splints which relieve tired joints during the night.
Out of concern for the patient the treatment program and treatment itself are tailored to his/her individual needs.
