Cryosurgical Varicose Veins Removal
October 2010
From the moment at being met by Igor at Warsaw Airport everything ran like clockwork. I had been apprehensive about having my operation performed abroad but this was quickly dispelled after meeting Igor and having my mind put at rest. It had previously been arranged that Igor would run us directly for my blood test from the Airport to save us time the following day. Igor then ran us in his car to our apartment. The accommodation was a luxury 2 bed roomed apartment right on the main route to visit the Old Town and various sightseeing spots. Although Igor had offered to book us into a hotel, as our grandson was coming along, an apartment proved better.
I travelled with my wife and 9 year old grandson from Cyprus which is where I live. The cost I was quoted for the operation to be carried out in Poland was most favorable compared to having it done in Cyprus or even UK. It was explained to me prior to arriving in Warsaw that the operation would only last for one hour as I was only having one leg operated on. When the surgeon saw my veins he advised that they were worse than he had originally thought and advised that because the veins were so deep, laser treatment would not be advisable as there would be a risk of them needing to be done again in another year.
Although I was extremely worried about a General Anesthetic, the surgeon informed me that this would not be necessary as he would freeze my leg and strip the veins. After just over one hour of surgery I was given a cup of tea and apart from feeling a little ‘light headed’, we were driven back to our apartment by Igor where I was told to rest with my leg raised. The surgeon also advised I exercise the following day which fitted in well with our plans of sightseeing.
I was not charged any additional money for the different method used for the operation. Nothing was too much trouble either for the team of Surgeons and Nurses at the Clinic or the service Igor gave us. We were looked after wonderfully. Igor even took my wife and grandson out walking in the forest whilst I was having my operation. Igor’s attention to detail was fantastic.
One week after my operation I played 18 holes of golf in Cyprus with no pain or discomfort.
I cannot thank Igor, the surgeon and his team enough.

Varicose Veins Treatment
July 2010
I am really happy with the results and my leg is healing nicely. Everything was organised brilliantly thanks to yourself. I was quite sceptical and worried at first but the treatment i received was fantastic from the doctors and yourself and the price was excellent, which was the main reason i decided MTA Poland. I also really enjoyed my stay in warsaw doing some sightseeing although i missed out on seeing the gestapo hq which i would have liked to go too see. All in all it was a fantastic weekend and if in the future i have further problems i will definately be using your services again. The hotel was also the nicest i have ever stopped in and at a really good price being around £62 a night. To anyone thinking of going to poland for treatment it is normal to be sceptical and worried but from my own experience i can hand on heart recommend MTA Poland for fantastic medical treatment.

Varicose Veins Treatment
March 2010
First of all, I must say the whole experience of travelling for treatment was so much more than I expected it to be. I had a direct flight to Warsaw on Thursday evening.
Chris from MTA Poland was already waiting for me at the airport when my plane landed and he took me right to my hotel. We sat down in the lobby where Chris gave me the rental phone included in the welcome pack I decided to purchase along with the treatment package. At first I thought the phone would not be useful, but the next two days proved otherwise. After having the paperwork regarding my treatment sorted out, I was given a printed version of my itinerary with details of my treatment plan along with a small Warsaw guidebook and a city map. Chris then talked everything over with me once again, and once he made sure I was ok, he left me to rest before the big day.
I had a room booked at the “LaRegina” and I must admit I’ve never stayed in such a nice hotel for this little money anywhere in Europe!
Friday started early with some blood tests and an ultrasound of my legs. The clinic we visited for this was much nicer than I was used to at home, plus they took care of me as soon as we got there, even though we arrived 15 minutes earlier due to lighter traffic.
The surprises did not end there. The blood test results were already waiting for us when I came out of the examination room, with my ultrasound result! All this for just a fraction of what it would cost back home.
The entire visit took approximately half an hour. This put me in a really good mood, as it would anybody, I expect. Chris then took me back to the hotel, showing me a bit of the city and telling me some interesting facts from its history on the way.
The main treatment appointment was for 5pm, so I had most of the day at my disposal. After breakfast I decided to do some sightseeing, but my memory did not allow me to recall the names of those places Chris recommended me to visit, so I used the phone to call him for directions. The nice thing about it was that I did not have to worry about roaming charges and dialling area codes, his number being conveniently stored in the phone memory. A nice touch. Warsaw is quite an interesting place and I wish I had had more time to look around. I hope I get to go back there some day, but now back to the main story.
We arrived at the clinic a few minutes before 5pm. I was greeted by the staff and the doctor who then explained the entire procedure to me once again and assured me all would be fine. Then the pace of things picked up with the arrival of the anaesthesiologist. At least this is how it seemed to me at that time. The anaesthetic I got made it seem like the whole thing took maybe twenty minutes, and I was reluctant to believe I had spent slightly over two hours on the table while the doctor did both of my legs. He then explained to me that my legs needed slightly more work than initially was expected, and in order to achieve best results he also used another laser method, which I had previously been told by a doctor back home would cost me extra.
In Poland it didn’t. It was a relief to hear that, I’ll tell you. They even gave me dressings and special stockings to wear at home to ensure maximum effect of the procedure, all included in the price. On the way back to the hotel I was still enjoying the remains of that pleasant glow the anaesthetic gave me.
Saturday morning I woke up feeling fine, although I had a problem recalling what time I was supposed to be ready for Chris to take me to the airport. The doctor did warn me small memory lapses could happen, so I didn’t worry much, I just used the phone again to call Chris and hammer out the details of my departure. In the afternoon, on our way to the airport, we stopped by a pharmacy where we bought the stuff the doctor had prescribed the day before, and I was ready to fly home.
I must say I felt a bit silly having remembered the things I had worried about when deciding to visit Poland for treatment. It was much more than I expected it to be. More pleasant, more professional and it felt safer, while it was definitely not more expensive. In other words, a piece of cake!
So to all of you out there considering treatment in Poland, go ahead and do it, the guys there really know what they are doing!
Oh, and by the way, they did a great job on my legs, they look and feel great again!

I came to Poland to have varicose veins removed as it was much much cheaper than having the procedure done here. The staff of MTA Poland were very professional and I enjoyed my stay in Poland.

SPA Package
September 2009

My sister and I have just returned from a wonderful and memorable trip to Warsaw.
I booked it through the internet and was therefore dubious but unnecessarily so as we were met at the airport by Igor Kubiak. He brought us for a dental procedure and then drove us to a spa hotel 45mins from Warsaw. We spent 3 heavenly nights there with 2 treatments per day, e.g. two Indian girls massaged us with mud and oil for one hr and then 2 Indian males performed reflexology immediately after. Every treatment we got was wonderful and left our bodies completely relaxed and glowing.
On the fourth day Igor collected us at 3pm after a lovely a la carte lunch and drove us to the
Marriot Hotel for 3nights. The hotel was 1st class and in the centre of Warsaw which is a lovely city. The food both in the spa and the hotel was excellent and we found we needed very little extra money after what we paid for the holiday.
Igor was a most caring considerate young man and even left his mobile phone with us while he was off duty at the weekend. He is more of a medical rep. than a travel one e.g. the gastric balloon at a fraction of the Irish price etc.

SmartLipo
August 2009
My name is Tom and I am from Cork city in Ireland. I went to Warsaw at the beginning of August 2009 for smart liposuction with the aid of MTA Poland. Igor, MTA's contact person, was very professional and friendly. He provided an excellent service and was always available to give helpful advice and information. I would whole-heartedly recommend MTA Poland for medical treatments abroad.

I would definitely recommend the services of MTA Poland if you're thinking of treatment abroad. Not only will you get excellent care and treatment you'll save yourself quite a bit of money too and enable you to actually have the treatment you want now rather than save for months / years. I had a wonderful surgeon and team carry out my gastric balloon proceedure and I cannot fault anything. I always felt safe, confident and informed every step of the way. There was English speaking staff on hand in the clinic and our MTA representative was extremely helpful.

Asthma treatment,
August 2008
I've been having problems breathing for several years, due to my asthma. I was able to manage it quite easily for a time, but as my health deteriorated, I finally decided to do something more about it. However, the tr
eatment costs I had been presented with in the UK were, frankly, discouraging.
During my research on alternative solutions I stumbled upon the concept of medical tourism. I spent some more time on the Web, and then I found you. While I'm not partial to air travel, mostly due to the fact that the plane is a confined space - which I do not feel good with - this relatively short ride was worth it and now I'm feeling much, much better. I'd like to send my thanks to Mr. Igor Kubiak, who took great care of me during my stay and shown remarkable patience while answering my questions. What's better, even though I've gone to a different country, my wallet still has more money than it would if I had just gone to the local clinic. Makes you think.

Dental Treatment
September 2008
I've made use of MTA Poland's services to get my teeth fixed; my smile was a little crooked, although the prices here hadn't made me smile at all. My visit took 5 days (to any would-be visitors I have this to say: go and see the Old Town when you're there!), and I had a great time.
The hotel room was good and the food was tasty, although I'd prefer larger servings. Business-wise, the services were very competent! The dentist's office was professionally furnished, the doctor was highly skilled, and MTA employees were available all day if I needed them.
I'd like to return here someday, but preferably not as a patient. After all, who likes visiting the dentists', skilled as they may be? Should my friends require assistance, however, I'd be glad to direct them to your door.

For some time I've wanted to take better care of my body - spoil it, as it were, with something that would improve my skin and complexion. But I was so bored with your everyday beauty parlors. My friend told me about your services, and I have to say, that was something else.
Not only I could get a break from my everyday life, but I also got my beauty treatment as well as an opportunity to visit some local malls, not to mention a number of marvelous nightclubs! It's a shame that my stay was so short, as three days is not nearly enough for this city. Still, I only used a single day off on this trip, so I can't complain. I'll be sure to visit, and make use of your services, again. I found it's best to take care of both your body and mind in one go!

Rhinoplasty
April 2008
Thanks to you, I managed to avoid the queues and extortionate prices of our local plastic surgeons!
I must say that I've been skeptical at first, as I can't speak a word of Polish, save from a number of phrases I picked up here and there, but the whole experience was really positive! Many people spoke English, so I was very comfortable.
I felt I've been cared for and really, the doctors couldn't have been nicer. I came home with a great new nose and a lot of money to spare!
It's too bad that I haven't had much time for sightseeing, but I will probably return here with my friend later during the year. Thanks again!

Health Check-up
November 2008
I had a very good time, all in all: after the battery of tests I was free to roam in the city, sampling what it had to offer. I took a number of excellent pictures, had some amazing meals at the local restaurants, and the pubs were quite enjoyable as well! Fully rested, I picked up my check-up results and promptly flew home.
This was a very refreshing weekend, and I think that health check-ups coupled with sightseeing, shopping and - in my case - a few cold ones could really take off. Obviously it would not have gone as well without you; my 'handler' was a very polite person with fluent command of English, and the accommodations you provided were very satisfactory. It's not a medical visit per se; it's more of an experience! I will have to schedule these checkups more often, say, every three months?
